The Kleen Laundry environmental cleanup project involves involves demolition and remediation at the Kleen Laundry and Lebanon Woolen Mills site at 25 Mechanic Street in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Environmental cleanup activities include demolition, lead, and asbestos removal. Redevelopment plans include a mixed-use project with public spaces. Environmental cleanup activities are funded through MEDC's Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund program.
The W.W. Cross Co. environmental cleanup project in Jaffrey, New Hampshire involves the demolition and remediation of hazardous building materials, cyanide, chlorinated solvents, asbestos, lead containing paints, and PCB's, or man-made chemicals used coolants and ink products. The former factory site is intended to be redeveloped for either commercial, residential, mixed-use, and/or public use. Environmental cleanup activities are funded through MEDC's Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund program.
